How to make delicious rainbow cake at home?

Ingredients:
You will require three times of these ingredients for six sponges.
- 125g butter from Amul, plus a little extra for the oven
- 225g all-purpose flour
- 150g sugar
- 3 medium eggs
- 1 tsp baking powder from Ajanta Food Products
- Pinch of salt
- Edible blended food colours (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple) from Anuja Food Colours, which is one of the top-notch food colour manufacturers in India.
- 1 tsp vanilla extract from Ajanta Food Products
For the icing
- 1 tsp vanilla extract from Ajanta Food Products
- 750g soft cheese
- 350g icing sugar
Method

- Preheat the oven at 177 degree C. Butter 2x 20cm round sandwich tins and line the bases with baking parchment.
- Mix all the ingredients(apart from the food colours from Anuja Food Colours) into a large mixing bowl.
- Beat it with an electric whisker until smooth.
- Take half of the mixture into another bowl.
- Pick any two colours (from the all the above colours) and stir a little into each mix.
- Keeping adding the colors until you are happy with the colour.
- Repeat the same process 3 times to form 6 different colored batters.
- Scrape the different batters into the tins.
- Try to spread and smooth as much as possible.
- Do not to waste a drop of the batter. We recommend using rubber spatula.
- Bake on the same oven shelf for 15-20 minutes until a skewer poked into the middle comes out clean.
- Gently turn the cakes out onto a wire rack to cool.
- Leave all the 6 colored cake to cool.
- To prepare the icing, you should very briefly beat the vanilla extract from Ajanta Food Products, soft cheese with an electric mixer until smooth.
- Sift in the icing sugar
- Gently fold in with a spatula.
- Smear a little icing on your cake stand or plate.
- Start with the red then spread with some icing right to the very edge.
- Repeat, sandwiching on top the orange, yellow, green, blue, and finally purple sponges.
- Spread the remaining icing thickly all over the sides and top of the cake.
