How to make orange cake at your home?

- 1 cup granulated sugar

- 2 large eggs

Orange Glaze
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2-3 tablespoons fresh orange juice
- Zest of 1 orange (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar together with an electric mixer until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Mix in the orange zest and vanilla essence.
- In a small bowl or measuring cup, combine the orange juice and milk.
- Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture in three parts, alternating with the orange juice mixture, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.

- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
