Ingredients
For the Cupcakes:
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

- ½ cup butter, room temperature
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs

- ⅓ Cup whole milk
- ¼ cup strawberry puree

Optional Add-ins:
- ½ cup chopped fresh strawberries

For the Strawberry Buttercream Frosting:
- ½ cup butter, room temperature
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp strawberry puree
- Few drops of vanilla essence from Ajanta Food Products
- Pinch of pink food color from Anuja Food Colours
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a 12-cup muffin pan with cupcake liners.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs, one at a time.
- Add vanilla essence and strawberry puree.
- Mix well.
- Alternately add the flour mixture and milk to the wet ingredients, beginning and ending with the flour.
- Add food coloring and mix until evenly colored.
- Fold in chopped strawberries if using.
- Spoon batter into cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let cool completely before frosting.

Frosting Instructions
- Beat butter until smooth.
