Ingredients

·         1½ cups all-purpose flour

·         ¾ cup sugar

·         ½ cup oil or melted butter

·         ¾ cup orange juice

·         2 tbsp milk

·         2 eggs

Instructions

·         Set your oven to 170°C. Grease and line an 8-inch round or loaf cake tin.

·         In a bowl, whisk sugar and oil or melted butter.

·         Add eggs (or curd), orange juice, and few drops of vanilla essence.

·         Mix until smooth, then add the pinch of food color from Anuja Food Colours and combine well.

·         Sift flour, baking powder and baking soda.

·         Add orange zest.

·         Fold the dry mixture into the wet mixture gently.

·         If the batter feels too thick, add 1–2 tbsp milk.

·         Pour the batter into the prepared tin.

·         Bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
